Throughout the academic year, the Placement Cell undertakes a range of activities to prepare students for the professional world:

- Skill Development Workshops: Workshops focus on essential soft skills such as communication, presentation, teamwork, and problem-solving. Technical skill enhancement programs are also organized based on industry needs.
- Resume Building and Interview Preparation: Students receive hands-on training in crafting effective resumes and cover letters, along with mock interview sessions to boost their confidence.

Highlight: Job Fair on July 28, 2024
A significant initiative undertaken by the Placement Cell was the successful organization of a Job Fair on Sunday, July 28, 2024, within the college premises. This event was a landmark effort to bring together multiple employers and job seekers under one roof, providing a direct platform for recruitment.
- Objective: The primary objective of the Job Fair was to create a centralized platform for students and recent graduates from various disciplines to interact directly with potential employers and explore diverse career opportunities.
- Participation: The Job Fair witnessed enthusiastic participation from a wide array of companies across sectors such as IT, education, finance, retail, and healthcare. Over 20 companies participated, offering roles in and More than 500 students attended the fair.
- Opportunities Offered: Companies presented a range of opportunities including full-time positions, internships, and training programs for various roles such as Sales Executive, Data Entry Operator, Teaching Assistant, Customer Service Representative, etc.
- Outcome: The event proved highly beneficial, with numerous students being shortlisted for further rounds of interviews. Preliminary reports indicate that over 150 students were shortlisted and 50 received on-the-spot offers/letters of intent. The positive feedback received from both participating companies and students underscores the success of this initiative.

The Placement Cell of Acharya Sitaram Chaturvedi Mahila Mahavidyalaya was pleased to host a highly insightful career counselling session on the second day of the five-day “Deeksha Saptah” (Initiation Week) for newly admitted students. The session featured Mr. Pramod Jaiswal, representing Business Club India, Varanasi, as the chief guest.
Mr. Jaiswal’s address was a pivotal part of the orientation program aimed at equipping students with the necessary guidance for their future professional endeavours. On the inaugural day of the six-day workshop held at Acharya Sitaram Chaturvedi Mahila Mahavidyalaya from October 23rd to October 28th, Dr. P.K. Singh delivered a keynote address focusing on “Effective Communication” and “Interview Skills.” The program commenced with Dr. P.K. Singh, along with Prof. Kalpana Pandey, Director of the college, and Principal Prof. R.N. Sharma, offering floral tributes to the images of Goddess Saraswati and Acharya Sitaram Chaturvedi.
In his insightful address, Dr. P.K. Singh emphasized that effective communication is the cornerstone of any successful interview. He urged the students to cultivate the habit of understanding new words and their meanings, highlighting its importance in clear and impactful communication.
